I get it, I really do. Ads are frustrating, stupid, and I've never bought anything or a service from them for as long as I've lived - a pretty long time, now. But webhosting is insanely expensive, and is only going to get more expensive, likely without reprieve. The four or five monosites can afford to lose money hand over fist; archive services and independent webhosts really can't, even more so when they're for things like video game preservation and deferring costs is difficult. I'm just some rando on the internet, but understand that sites like this'll be gone all the sooner if we can't make exceptions for them.
