Re: Redirect, even with adblock off + all scripts?

If anyone is having the same issue, what I ended up finding was that it was actually the fault of my internet provider-and that my desktop and the internet box itself needed to be assigned to a "no adblock" group in order to let the ads through, in addition to making sure that the site was included as an exception in all applicable browser settings, adblock extensions, and also my VPN needed to be disabled for my browser app so I need to find another VPN I can use on here that won't block ads.
So there's a lot of levels that could be causing people issues in getting them to turn up. I'd guess for the message above it was probably something to do with the automatic settings the browser enables while in a private window instead of a public one, I don't know that much about Waterfox but it's my best guess because the same is happening for me.
Hi, I created an account just to mention this. I think it's an edge case, and I might have figured it out on my own, but in case anyone else has the same issue...
While using Waterfox (current) + Ublock Origin + selective use of noscript, even with all site scripts allowed and ublock disabled, I kept getting redirected to the adblock-enabled message. I have no idea why this would be the case, but the problem resolves itself when not run in a private window; I'd forgotten I was using a private window, as it's a force of habit/courtesy while using a browser at work.
I cannot fathom how or why that'd lead to a different experience, but more than anything else, I want to keep doing my part while browsing. So if anyone else has a similar experience, well, here you go, hope it helps.
Take care out there, everybody.
