I haven't even had an account on this site for long, but from someone who is very emotionally invested in a very old cat that lives with them, my heart goes out to you.

My friend for twenty years passed away this morning. A house cat's world is tiny so few people ever meet them, leaving few to remember them. Well now the internet knows, and the internet never forgets.
