Re: Donkey Kong 64 Glitch?

I'm extremely new to roms but not to the old games (as i, myself, am half a century old)...lol. But if anyone can help me with this little problem, does the DK64 have this problem thru out (with not being able to get the power from Cranky to grab the sticks Donkey Kong needs) the rom, or is it just a glitch for me in which case does anyone know how to fix it?

New to ROMs & everything but LOVED DK64, I'm wondering if anyone else is having a problem with getting Donkey Kongs last upgrade (the switch grab?) from Cranky, it keeps giving me the 'strong kong' for 5 coins.... Can't finish any of the games after angry aztec without it :(
