Re: Any hope in removing the watermarks?

I would consider the Internet Archive to be the primary place to upload manuals myself. It's got far more manuals and far more active users than Vimm. Are you sure the manuals you have aren't already on the Internet Archive?
Hi, i have probably around 50-60 manuals i can add, but i will wait for watermarks to be gone.
Uploading them to Internet Archive seems pointless to me, as someone will just rip them off there and upload them to here.
And since this is still the primary place to upload manuals, the version without watermark would become almost impossible to find.
Also i am curious if vimm's lair stores these manuals clean on the backend. Or if it's baked into the file just for viewing.
If it's baked into the files, then it might not be possible to cleanse the current uploads.
Also the game files on this site are also not watermarked, so it seems kind of weird to do this onto images of all things.
