Fatal Error (I'm new to this sorry!)

I've got azahar as a 3ds emulator, and am trying to open the tomodachi life file from the vault (as a cci file) into azahar. Met with 'fatal error' error message and a black screen. Please tell me what I can try to do to fix this if there's anyone that knows about this. I've tried this with both Azahar and AzaharPlus, same error message with the same cci file (extracted from a file). I'm on Windows 11 (regrettably).
Again I am super new to this so I'm sorry if it's an obvious thing! I just want to play games.
