That's possible, but it wouldn't work under Vimm's model because Vimm depends on ad revenue to provide bandwidth in the first place, something that torrents would bypass.

Since vimm is already providing downloads over HTTP, setting up the server to be a permanent seed for each torrent might be good, since you'd get the (best-case-scenario) benefit of having multiple seeds, and worst-case it's the same as it is now (a single source from vimm itself). Plus nowadays torrents can carry "HTTP sources" to supplement
