There seem to be a lot of reports like this, far more than with extract-xiso. Perhaps I should switch back to that. The other option is to drop .xiso completely.
I've tried some of the new XISOs done with xdvdfs and a couple of them have issues. I've tried "Darkwatch" and "Fable: The Lost Chapters"; the former won't load at all and the latter boots up but after the intro it displays a damaged/dirty disc error. Then, I tested the XISOs made with extract-xiso and they work fine, so it's definitely an issue with xdvdfs.
*NOTE: I did my testing using the XEMU emulator, don't know if this also happens with original hardware.
