AFAIK there's no hard cap, it's entirely dependent on how much bandwidth Vimm has available. The more people that are downloading at the same time as you are, the slower your speeds will be.
I have 1Gig internet and the download speeds are bad. i was downloading a file that was 256MB file and it took almost 6 minutes, Is there a cap on the download speeds?
