I don't think the disc key update was the issue; I downloaded the JB folder before the update and it worked for me. Are you sure you were opening the right folder the first time? RPCS3 gives the "corrupted or invalid" error if you try to open the game from the "PS3_GAME" folder instead of its parent folder. It's a very easy mistake to make.
UPDATE: Redownloaded the JB after the news today and works.
