I don't know if I initially got the Dejap translation here, can't remember if you even put those up now, but I know this site is where I learned about emulation when I was a little kid. That was before "The vault" existed.  Going down memory lane I guess. My first FF6 download was here.  It took me hours back then.  Actually I remember that one being interrupted a bunch of times, so it took a couple days ultimately.

I probably still have some logs from the IRC channel on Newnet... heheh... that hard drive I hope they're on is at the bottom of my stack because it's so old - I should plug it in some time.  Won't post anything, though, lol. Thems were different times.

Talk about "Nostalgia" - that was always your mission here wasn't it?  Several levels of that right now.

I actually appreciate the same look. It was a simpler time - but the service is as it always has been - except now, there's more, I suppose.

Awesome though. Not remotely sketchy. It's the LEAST sketchy but I suppose I'm just an old-timer now, haha. It's still sexy. It's exactly as I remember it. I added it back to my bookmark bar, so I'll have to come and learn about "modern" emulation I suppose. Been out of the loop for a while - but I still play Seiken Densetsu III.
