More than likely, when it was first released, it ran a few games that Project 64 couldn't at the time. Same thing happened with the "battle" between the two DOS-based NES emulators, NESticle and LoopyNES. And yes, the "battle" is still going on between SNES9x and ZSNES. I'm still wondering who the "winner" will be at the end ... :-)

I added 1964 because it seemed to be a popular emulator but after trying it out I'm not impressed. Project64 seems to be blatantly superior. Perhaps I should just stick to that one in the Emulation Lair.
