Is the file intact or is it just a checksum mismatch? The checksums listed on those pages are based on Redump data, however Vimm converts the files from pure ISOs into more compact formats to maximize storage space and to make downloading more convenient. I do think it would be better for checksums to be based on the final files so users can ensure the download didn't get corrupted, but the files should still be the real deal so long as you aren't getting any errors unzipping.
I'm on linux I use unzip and 7z from j7z to extract data
I tried many times but not one time I was able to get the right file when I check the checksum, I tried with many games:
