Re: Game Genie/Game Shark/Super Gameboy

Super Gameboy was an add-on for the Super Famicon/Super Nintendo that allowed for playing original Gameboy games on the TV through the console, sometimes with additional features such as special screen borders, audio and visual enhancements, and multiplayer/multitap functionality. Not all emulators can emulate the Super Game Boy properly, I recommend reading the Super Game Boy section on Emulation General Wiki to understand the issues with Super Game Boy emulation:

Game Genie and GameShark were cheat devices that allowed a user to alter memory values in order to modify the game, usually to provide special functions such as infinite lives, ammo, level select, etc. As with the Super Game Boy, not all emulators emulate this feature, but when they do, it is usually accessed through config menus rather than by opening the ROM of the cheat device itself.
How do I use these? For Super GB how do I use a GB rom with it? For GG/GS how do I use other roms with them?
