Dragon Force (PS2): French and English translation, version 1.0
Hello everyone,
I'm happy to share version 1.0 of the translation of Dragon Force on PS2, in French and in English. Everything is finished and tested.
The patcher does it all
With one small program, you get the French version, the English version, or a return to the original Japanese version, and you can switch from any version to any other.
- It recognizes your image by its content: the file name doesn't matter.
- A "Check my ISO" button verifies your image before starting.
- Error messages are simple, and the help is in the language of the interface.
- At the end, it checks that the resulting image is correct.
- Your original file is never modified: a new file is created next to it.
The two translations
- French: translated directly from the Japanese text.
- English: based on the official Saturn English translation, whose text is kept as it is, with 182 corrections.
Prefer to do it by hand? The patches (xdelta) are also provided separately: apply them yourself, with the tool of your choice, to your original Japanese image.
What you need
- Your own clean, original Japanese image of Dragon Force on PS2. An already modified image is refused.
- About 5 GB of free space.
- Don't close the patcher window while it works, as that interrupts it.
Important: only the patch is distributed. No ISO or ROM is provided here or through any link. You need to own the game.
