TO answer the PSP question i will tell you that you would have to flash your PSP with Custom Firmware. Over the last year it has become alot more safer, but it still could lead to bricking your PSP.
It's complicated and I forgot how I did it, but PSP-Hacks.com helped me out with that. You might be able to find YouTube video instructions of it as well. If you install custome firmware, the snes emulator is Snes9xTYL.
Also, I don't know which version PSP you have, but the 3000 models haven't been hacked yet.
As for WinZip, Vista and XP should have a built in Zip extracting program, and Vimm's emulators are Self-Extracting .Exe's so you should be able to just double click the downloaded file. If it doesn't work first try right clicking the file, click properties, goto compatibility tab, change compatibility to XP.
The ROMs can go anywhere, just remember where they are when you load them in the emulator. Both Snes9x and Zsnes can load ROMs in zip format so there is no need to extract them.
I just bought a new computer. It has Vista, I know I know. Not the best choice. I will get something new soon or wait until Microsoft comes out with something new. It will do for now.
Anyway, I tried to download SNES9x and it worked. But I cannot find the correct version of Winzip to work with Vista. Does anybody know where I can get this from?
Also, where do I save the games at?
Finally, I heard that you can put SNES9x onto a PSP? Anyway, I have the PSP slim, I think its version 4.01? I will double check. Has anybody put an SNES emulator onto their PSP? I am looking to do so. Just wanted to see if there was a certain version of PSP software I need or whatever.
Any and all help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Mateya
