what are psx bios? are those equivalent to roms? like the games. please explain, and thank you for this major help
The best emulator is ePSXe. You'll also need plugins for graphics, sound, and possibly CD/ISOs and Controller.
You'll also need some PSX BIOS. you're on your own there.
You can find some ISOs at EmuParadise. PSX ISOs are much larger than 8- and 16-bit system's game ROMs. You should also know that not all PSX games emulate at 100% or at all.
