I once experimented with music back... in the 90's... but I couldn't seem to get it right. The idea was to play a tune in the background that would rotate weekly as sort of a little trivia to guess what game it was from. The sound controls and answer would be below the menu in the bottom left corner. Unfortunately wavs were way to big for dial-up users and emulators didn't make midis. MP3's didn't exist either. And then there was no standard way to play sound in a browser without plugins. Overall I decided it wasn't worth the effort to add a feature that many would probably dislike.
Now if only there were a way to stream MP3s that would work in any browser...
This isn't the 90's anymore. He doesn't need to glam up his site with music like those really bad sites that were all over geocities and angelfire. lol
