If you downloaded SNES9x from some other site you'll need to unzip all of the files somewhere in order to run it. Try downloading it from the Emulation Lair and the installer will guide you through it.
Vimm, thank you for getting back to me so quickly, great site, Love the way things are organized and such. I do not think it is in Read only but I am not sure how to check that. I download Snes9x through Safari, download it, save it under emulators then after its downloaded and I click program and that immediately comes up, should i try downloading it under mozilla or internet explorer..
