If you do some Google searching you might find some small app that converts SRAM to different formats too.

Of course; that's not the way it works. :-) You have to start the game over and save from there. Sorry about that. :-(

Even if the emulator you used had it problems corrected in a newer version, using your saved games still gives you the same problems, since they're saved in old glitched mode.
