ePSXe in the Emulation Lair will run ISOs in any format. Based on my research, some games require subchannel data in order to run on a real PS1 and .iso doesn't support that which is why .bin and .cue with (optional) .sub seems to be the most common format. I'd prefer to put everything into one format but I don't have a converter either, and you don't need one to play the games.
?? Cant you just run one of the files? Either one will work. You dont have to make them one..do you?
