I can't get the roms to work on the vba, but the no$gba emulator will play them. The only problem is that you have to extract the roms for the emulator to work.
I am also having trouble playing Pokemon games. The ones I am trying to play are leaf-green and emerald. I successfully got crystal to work, which is a GBC game, not a GBA.
When I try to open these games in VBA, I get a white screen with the words "loaded battery" on the bottom. I'm not entirely sure, but if I remember right, these two games had an in-clock system that ran on a battery that was in the cartridge. Is this where the problem is? But then again, I think crystal did as well, so it's curious that that one is working. Any suggestions or work-arounds for my problem?
