I tried downloading FF9 disk one again and got this error message.
"Final_Fantasy_9.7z.part could not be saved, because the source file could not be read."
Had only 51.4 megs or 13% downloaded. It was downloading just fine and stopped abruptly. I know that is not much, but that is all I got here. Not sure but I don't think the download speed got any slower. It just suddenly stopped. Sorry for not being able to offer any more info.
I think each download got to approximately 64 megs if that helps any.
