We haven't heard back from the OP yet, but I'm thinking the best thing would be to get MAME and some of those sweet beat 'em up arcade games I remember. The Simpsons, The X-Men, Final Fight, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Golden Axe, they were all great and their console ports were such disappointments by comparison.

I have four gamepads on my computer and now me and my 3 buddies are looking to expand our horizons from just PC's limited library of good pad games. I'm mostly looking for good four player games from SNES and N64, but suggestions from any console are okay as long as the games are good. Anyone have any ideas?
