saga frontier glitch help

so as im trying to play saga frontier, the last sprite that spoke in game proceeds over into the next line of text. example, when red asks yuria to go out, i still have the text from the backstory written all over it. making it hard to read, is there anything that can be done to help this? "u can go to mcdonalds and look at the menu as long as u come home for dinner"
