NEStopia runs NES games.  The run you're trying to run is an SNES game.  Try for an SNES emulator.  I'm not sure what's been ported to the Mac and what hasn't, but your first try should be for SNES9x.  ZSNES probably isn't in Mac form, since it was programmed in Assembler.

I just downloaded Nestopia for Mac and came here to download Final Fantasy III. I saw it was a ZIP file at first, and my first reactions was "this isn't going to work." - But something happened, I don't know what, and now I have a file "FinalFantasy3.sfc" and a "Vimm's Lair.txt"

The game won't open in Nestopia. What am I supposed to do both with this game/download and with my Mac/Nestopia situation?
