I simply find it easier to just download the ISO and patch it before burning it to a disk.
I use free MC Boot on all my PS2 games and honestly it's easy as can be. No modding to your system or anything. It all runs off of the memory card. I find it a lot easier to do that than spend a ton of money on a gaming computer just to use the emulators properly.
