I bought an XP FPP license as discussed starting here My posts don't convey how absolutely flipped out I was at the thought of losing XP, and more importantly the applications that depend on it. Still haven't gotten a new PC; the FPP's dual booting with my OEM at the moment.

I'm currently moving from Windows 7 to Ubuntu v11.10. I'm also eagerly awaiting v12, to be released on the 26th.
It's funny, but WINE for Ubuntu actually runs 90% of the programs that Windows 7 can't, and Ubuntu is free and open-source. Win7 costs *how* much again? :-/
