It looks like the English translation doesn't work properly in FCE Ultra (at least in my Ubuntu version); the game is virtually unbeatable. :-( It's not my strategy; I viewed a walkthrough in YouTube, and followed the directions to the letter.
I might have better luck playing it in a different emulator. Every Win32-based emulator I've tried seems to work 100% in WINE for Ubuntu.
