I suppose Captain Comic is a good choice for the list, too. But what makes the whole game weird is that color scheme on the main character. If you had the opportunity to ignore the man you control, the game would seem to have perfectly normal graphics. The fact that you have to look at your man the *whole time* you play the game - this keeps the game's graphics from ever gelling together.
This sounds like a portion of a game review, doesn't it? I've been writing a lot of those lately. :-)

Of games I actually own (and have played), I'd have to go for Dash Galaxy for the NES. You play as a space man who runs around his ship jumping on trampolines to reach switches and collect keys while dodging oxygen sucking monsters on his journey to reach the cockpit. There's a reason it retailed for $20.
