Woo sytacks! dis is my BEt genre i MASTER at this genre. that said im not sur what game it is. however- now i DO know, 10 seconds later- 1942 (and maybe 1943)

I'm trying to find the name of a game, it was the first game I ever played. It was a vertical shooter for NES, you are on the bottom of the screen shooting forwards (like Galaga) except you actually move with the screen (like Gradius) and there were hordes of enemies. All I can remember are these pink enemies that would come in groups and fly around in circles. I don't remember anything else except that it was really hard. I don't think I ever got past the first level...
If anyone can find what game I'm talking about, it would probably be the biggest nostalgia trip ever. I'll give you like a quarter or something.
