Concerning board signatures...

Anyone care to inform me why the signature URL is not saved when I update my profile?
Numerous attempts yield the same result and other fields are saved when updated.
Not life or death, but some insight would be nice.
"(Aliases: cantide****, maytide, hexlaser, kheddar,...)"
