Re: Issue with Star Ocean

The title screen is animated. Is it moving? Is there sound?
Does input work on other games?

I've personally never had a problem with the game. Unless he updates his ROMs I doubt it's the copy. Which would suggest the issue is with the emulator, your system, or somewhere between the chair and keyboard.

I already tried that thinking it would bring up the menu options but it doesn't. I even tried it again after you suggested it. I also tried playing around with the background settings thinking maybe one of the layers was turned off but that didn't help either. I really want to play this game but it's pretty difficult to start a new game when there is not New Game option to select on the title screen.
