The Project 64 installer contains a controversial browser add-on which displays ads that benefit the author. It's a legitimate tool and you can opt out of installing it, but it's also commonly abused by viruses. Hence the warning you see.
I'm a bit conflicted about hosting it, but it is the official installer for Project 64. Alternately I could build a custom installer without the adware as I have for other emulators. What do you think? Should I repackage it, or should I respect the author's choice?
I see Project 64 2.2 has been released lately and I've added it to the Emulation Lair. Unfortunately it still contains the adware....
