You're right. Not only is there an English translation of Tales of Phantasia, there's two! I dug up the patches and both the Absolute Zero (2007) and Phantasian Productions (2012) translations are now available in the PS1 Vault.
I know there is a PS1 version of tales of phantasia ( superior to the GBA version and a upgrade to the SNES version), however it was only released in Japan and has no legal English translation i used to have a English translation of the ISO but lost it during a BSOD in my last build, anyone know where to find another or acquire one for the site?
