Re: An Urgent Request

The following is lifted from a page on child psychology, which should make it appropriate to your level of understanding:
Invalidation is to reject, ignore, mock, tease, judge, or diminish someone's feelings. It is an attempt to control how they feel and for how long they feel it. Invalidation is a form of psychological attack.
A few of the many ways we are invalidated:
-We are told we shouldn't feel the way we feel
-We are dictated not to feel the way we feel
-We are told we are too sensitive, too "dramatic"
-We are ignored
-We are judged
-We are led to believe there is something wrong with us for feeling how we feel
I said in effect that it doesn't bother you? Don't know how you'r reading into my comment but you're certainly doing it wrong. Basically what I'm saying is that the V is really, really small. It SHOULDN'T bother you, but somehow it does, and now you're requesting the removal of it just because it bothers you. Not exactly just feedback, is it now?
