Re: Nintendo handhelds

The Nintendo DS (No, not the Gameboy DS!) is more of a cousin to the Gameboy than it is a brother.. Iwata had stated himself that the DS was a third pillar, and not a part of the Gameboy "series".
The DS has a few emulators and roms out there, but none of the current emulators run any of the roms, only homebrew apps. The roms can be played using something called a PassKey on the DS. For example, the M3 Adapter.
Gameboy and Gameboy Color are the only handhelds with any chance to be added to the database any time soon. The others are too recent to be considered nostalgic.
