It sounds as though your Anti-spy or Anti-adware software is causing this, I'm afraid. :-(
Norton AV is causing a *lot* of my applications to freeze on me. I have to disable it just to run a shortcut to my shopping list built by MSW. I'd switch to Anti-Vir if I could just find the darn thing.

My computer crashed a month ago and I lost all of my emulator and rom stuff I had on it. ANyway it's back now and now my emulattors and roms kee on freezing my computer. THe emulator I use is SNES9x version 1.53 for windows and the version of windows is xp with as-ware and windows anti-spy on it so it doesn't crash again due to spyware. My question is is there some way to have emulators and roms on my computer without it freezing on me all the time?
