N64 Emulation/Controller help

I downloaded project 64 for windows. The roms run great but i cannot use my PS4 controller. Whenever the rom starts, it will say no controller, thanks.

I'm trying to play F-Zero on the N64. Neither emulator in the emulation lair is working. Project 64 says plugins have not been initialized. Gone though all the options and can't find info on their site. Mupen64Plus shows a screen that says M64 has started then closes.
