Woot! I fixed :) thanks to all those who read my post! You NEED to have the japanese version of the rom (Final Fantasy 4 it's called :P)
I don't know if i'm allowed to post the name of this site I found it on so I won't (it wasn't a grotty geocities it was a .com).
When ever I try to load the ff2 rom with the J2e patch in ZSNES (windows) I see a title page and then the screen goes black. I have the English edition and have followed all the step (rename patch to rom name (and vise versa), selected patch option in GUI and used Snestools). Could someone please tell me where I have gone wrong? Thanks in advance for your help :)
