I assumed the issue you were having was solved by now but I guess it wasn't. There shouldn't be a problem with version 1.72

The only other thing I can think of is uninstalling the version you are using right now and installing version 1.72

and remember to follow all the steps I posted before. The layout of version 1.72 is a bit different though. You just have to look through the emulator options and you should be able to figure it out
