What format is the game in? If it's an NKit, converting it to ISO might do the trick
whenever I start up Godzilla unleashed, its shows the first few screens of wiimote safety, but just goes black right before the Godzilla unleashed title screen.
I have dolphin 5.0-11991 because that one worked when my brother used it on his computer, so maybe it's computer specific. I have an AMD Ryzen 3 3200U with radeon vega mobile, AMD radeon vega 3 graphics, and 4GB ram.
