The same thing happened to me. What I did was disable download managers and open a private browser window, to make sure no extensions were interfering. Then it worked.
I recently downloaded metroid prime trilogy for Wii, but when I extracted the rom I couldn't because it was corrupt. I tried to download it again in case it was my internet connection but I still got a corrupt file.
