WHA?!(0.o) I DID!..they said to try a ROM site....they said the game doesn't have this problem, the ROM might, i can't talk about it anyways, becuase i'll get mode for it!

First look at their FAQ guides for DK64 (look at more than just one, if that one doesn't help), then possibly try their message boards.
