GameCube Twilight Princess FPS

Hi, I've been playing the GC version of Twilight Princess and everything has been going great so far but I'm at the part of the game where I'm near Hyrule Castle and there's a couple of areas the framerate drops from 30fps to 9fps. My laptop is pretty solid so I really don't think it's an issue with my system, just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience with this or know how to fix it?
