Got a new PC -- Life Sucks Now.

I got a PC from a PC shop about 6 years back -- buncha cool PC geeks ran the place so I felt cool about buying refurbished PCS from them. And that PC, man! I got some great use outta it! For the last two years I'd been keeping an on-going saved file of an ePSX file of Castlevania: SOTN. I'd load it up and play it for a few weeks straights and then move on to something else. Then about 5 weeks ago my trusty PC . . . it bit the dust. I couldn't afford a new stellar PC and I'd moved out to the sticks so there weren't any PC shops to go to -- but there was aan express Wal-Mart . . . and I really needed a PC for other things so I was forced to buy one for $400. This is when things starting go wrong. All the old programs and games I relied on that ran perfectly fine before won't run worth a piss-ant on this machine. SO i re-installed ePSX onto my current hardrive. Tried to run my old Castlevania: SOTN files. Get the Load:error GPUCore missing. Downloaded the Pete's GPU and unpacked into the PSX Plugin folder (which by the way it said "these files already exist do you want to replace them?" and I said "Yes" Ran the ePSX app again. Don't get the "Load GPUCore Error" now. I get a 'blank load' screen for about 5-8s before it just goes back to the desktop. Nothinging after that. Repeat. Same thing. Run As Administer: Same thing: Blank load screen then right back to desktop. TL:DR: Installed the Pete's GPU files. Fixed the "Load Error GPUCore" errror. Now just loads a blank screen for 5-8s before falling back to the desktop. Worked fine on old PC.
