Depends on how you want to save it. If it's quick save with save states it depends on what emulator you're using there's a hotkey to do this. If it's the real save being saving as in saving while playing the game on the system (aka no save states) I think you have to die or game over first to save. THat's how it was in Zelda II anyways.
How do you save on this RoM?
