ps3 MGSHD & MG4

For some reason i can't get metal gear solid 4 and the HD collection working despite them being the same versions as the ones on the rpcs3 compatibility list. Ive loaded the firmware and all that stuf..
Ive got the feeling im missing a step, i would love to see the older MGS series remade, maybe with a bit enhanced graphics. Just the nostalgia <3. Should i look for rap files or something?
For the record, so far ive found 5 games that work without a problem, without rap files etc, just add game and done: Naruto UNS, Skate 3, DBZ raging blast2, DMC4, Burnout paradise. Some other games on the compatibility list i cant seem to get out of "ingame" status to playable such as the tekken games. Hopefully its just an oversight on my part. Love the content here btw, keep up the good content <3.
