Gryzor=Contra

Posted by captainobvious on .
It was origanally called "Gryzor" in Japan (don't ask me what it means, I don't know) and was renamed "Contra" in the US. Depending on the fan-translator's preference, he may have translated the title as "Contra" or left it as "Gryzor". The two games have slight differences. If I remember right, you can skip the screen between levels in the Japanese version (Gryzor, including the one renamed Contra) but not in the American version (Contra). There may be other differences.
