Re: How do you make a rom?

ROMs are made using backup devices which basically act as a giant SNES cartridge. What more it can do depends totally on the model. I personally have a SNES and N64 backup device and I've used my SNES one primarily to play all sorts of translated games that were never released in the US. My N64 one has... well... collected dust. It's just not as user friendly since you need to track down a cartridge with the same memory type to plug into it just to play a game, though I did install a nice shiny Zip750 drive. I got it to load up Mario 64 but don't recall ever getting anything else to work, really.

How are roms made? Is there a way to conect a nes to a computer or a nes cartrige to a computer or can you use a nes to copy cartrige data to a computer read format.
Thanks.
Thanks.
